Prizes

Every year the Foundation hands out awards, an award either for an international acknowledged researcher in the field or a Professor Soisalo memorial award for a young researcher in the field.

The acknowledgement prize

The Finnish Foundation for Cardiovascular Research grants this prestigious award every other year to a nationally and internationally renowned Finnish researcher engaged in cardiovascular research.

Soisalo prize

Professor Pauli Soisalo award is granted to a young, under 40 years of age, and prominent researcher in the field. The amount of the award is 12 000 euros.
